Writing started off as a hobby. I would enjoy penning down thoughts, moments, actually any experience that was memorable and worth sharing. Sometimes, it was even just a stress-buster; nothing beats taking a pen and paper and venting (as long as nobody reads it!)

I took this hobby forward by doing a couple of writing courses and thoroughly enjoyed the learning experience (some of my pieces are posted under ‘My Writing Snippets’). As the next step, I wanted to explore something new and break out of my comfort zone, hence this Blog. I have to admit I haven’t been very diligent, probably a combination of procrastination, laziness or simply a lack of inspiration. But as the days turned to months and years, I realized that it was up to me to break out of my mundane routine and be inspired with even the little things in life.

I’m not used to sharing my pieces with a broad audience so this experience is very new to me. However, I’m optimistic and curious to see how this Blog grows and hopefully me along with it!

As William H. Gass said – “The true alchemists do not change lead into gold; they change the world into words”. Through my writing, I hope to show you, albeit temporarily, the world from my eyes.
